Welcome back! 

Today I want you to meet Kimmee. I had the pleasure of photographing her as one of our senior reps last summer (2022) and again in Spring 2023. Not only beautiful but smart, kind, and considerate are a few words that come to mind when I think about this young woman. When asked to describe herself, she is fun, bubbly, and nice and I couldn't agree more!

KIMMEE IS A SENIOR AT CENTENNIAL HIGH SCHOOL. SHE IS QUITE THE BUSY STUDENT, AS SHE IS INVOLVED IN MANY ACTIVITIES. SHE PARTICIPATES IN CHOIR, COLOR GUARD, SKI TEAM AND IS A MEMBER OF NHS! JUST THINKING ABOUT HOW BUSY SHE IS WEARS ME OUT, AND SHE DOES ALL OF THIS WHILE MAINTAINING A VERY HIGH G.P.A AND A JOB!

IT WAS A PERFECT DAY FOR SENIOR PORTRAITS. THE SUN WAS SHINING AND THE TEMPERATURE WAS ABOUT 70 DEGREES. FOR HER PHOTO SESSION WE WENT TO A PLACE I HAD NEVER BEEN BUT IS APPARENTLY QUITE POPULAR. WHEN YOU SCROLL THROUGH THE PHOTOS, YOU WILL SEE WHY! THIS LOCATION HAS A BIT OF EVERYTHING, MOUNTAINS, LANDSCAPE, PLATEAUS, VALLEYS, AND THE SNAKE RIVER. THE VIEWS ARE BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL.

KIMMEE DECIDED ON TWO DIFFERENT LOOKS FOR HER SENIOR PORTRAITS. IN HER WORDS, ONE NATURAL AND ONE ELEGANT. I LOVED THE OUTFITS KIMMEE BROUGHT TO THE SESSION. A PASTEL COLORED SWEATER WITH JEANS COMPLEMENTED HER BEAUTIFUL SKIN TONE. SHE CHOSE TO BRING THE CUTEST HAT FOR A FEW OF THE PHOTOS AND I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH HER CHOICE!

After her casual, day-to-day look she chose more formal attire. Her prom dress was perfectly contrasted by the landscape. The blowing wind accentuated the attached over skirt and it was superb. Kimmee was very thankful she chose an updo for her hair because it was very windy that day.

Since we are lacking in the flower department here in Idaho right now, Jenna with Milestones Planning made her the perfect spring bouquet to help highlight the season. Made up of Gerber Daisies, roses, chrysanthimums, and other florals, Jenna was careful to prepare an arrangement to match Kimmee's small frame.

I asked Kimmee what advice she had to offer others who were getting ready to take senior pictures. This is what she had to share: 

“Don’t stress and listen to the photographer, they’ll turn out great” 

One of her fears was "I would look angry or uncomfortable. I did not in the photos."

For the girls specifically, "I brought two (outfits) and it was the perfect amount. I was walking around a bit so I think next time I would not bring high heels."

After high school, Kimmee plans to study civil engineering at Boise State University. With three years of ASL under her belt in high school, she will continue studying American Sign laguage in college. I have no doubt she will be successful in all she puts her mind to.
