This "before and after" post highlights the effect of editing on a photo.
We know that not everyone is a professional photographer, but that doesn't mean you can't appreciate the power of editing. That's why we wanted to share this "before and after" post with you to show the impact that editing can have on a photo.

On the left, you'll see the original image. It's a beautiful portrait and has some great elements to it, but when shooting in RAW and editing in Photoshop, I was able to really bring out the depth of color and add a new level of light to the final result on the right.
As you can see, the editing process will make a big difference in the overall look and feel of a photo. So next time you're wondering why it is taking so long for your photographer to get your gallery back to you, understand that the images in camera are not finished. Your photographer is carefully putting the final touches on your photos to make sure they represent a final, finished product.
