FAQ

Who do I tip?

Tipping is a huge part of the culture in the United States. There are many reasons for this, and we are not here to argue whether or not this is a good idea. We want to guide you to help you with your budget.
Our advice is this: If a vendor sets their own prices, for example the owner of the business is providing the service to you, a tip is appreciated but not necessary. Business owners should have their pricing structured according to their cost of doing business. Please consider tipping their staff, especially if they do an exceptional job. As an example, if your photographer brings an assistant who is wonderful and helpful, and you feel they deserve a little extra, any amount is appreciated.
Please read your contract with each vendor, the tip could already be included in the service fee, or it could be stated in the contract how much you need to budget for the tip.

Is there something else I can do other than give a monetary tip?

Absolutely! You can also think about giving your vendors and/or their staff a small gift or gift card.
Something that really helps a business is a 5-star review. This only takes a little time.
