Family Friday-Tip of the Day
You have a newborn, you are tired, I get it. However, they are only little for a short period of time, and you will never regret having their portraits taken. One of the concerns I hear from new parents is that the baby cries a lot, so they don't think we will be successful during the photo session.
Well, I do have some tricks up my sleeve to help. I have been called the baby whisperer. There are a few things parents can do to help prepare their baby for the portrait session. Please have baby fed. A full baby is a happy baby, unless there is air in the tummy, then don't be afraid to "burp" your little. What about spit up, you ask? We are not afraid, if you are afraid, bring extra clothes.
The most important thing parents can do to help settle a fussy baby is to relax and be calm. They feed off of your energy, so do yourself a favor and enjoy this experience.
XOXO,
Amy
